Blige, Queen Latifah, Naomi Campbell, Iyanla Vanzant, Raven-Symone', Janelle Monae, and Dr. Sonia Sanchez.  Other invited guests include, DJ Spinderella, Anthony Hamilton, and Bryan-Michael Cox.  BLACK GIRLS ROCK!, Inc. is a mentoring outreach program targeting "at risk" teenage girls of color.  Founded by famed DJ Beverly Bond, BLACK GIRLS ROCK! combats the psychological effects of the negative images of black women depicted in the media and strives to make a difference in the lives of young women by raising awareness, counseling, and mentoring.  For more information about the organization and to purchase tickets to the event, visit www.blackgirlsrockinc.com/Awards09.
